Role of the CMC
The CMC works in partnership with police to fight major crime, and is also the integrity oversight body for the QPS.

- We work in partnership with the Queensland Police Service to investigate and prevent major crime in Queensland.
- Overseeing police integrity
- In our oversight role, we investigate complaints of official misconduct by police, and monitor how the QPS deals with complaints of police misconduct.
