Role of the CMC
The CMC is charged with improving integrity and reducing the incidence of misconduct in Queensland's public sector agencies.
- Assessing and investigating complaints
- What we can and cannot investigate; what we refer to other agencies; guidelines for conducting an in-house investigation.
- Oversight and monitoring
- To ensure that public sector agencies properly investigate matters referred to them, we monitor their performance and hold them accountable for how they have acted.
- Building agency capacity
- Strategies used by the CMC to improve agencies' ability to prevent and deal with misconduct.
