How to deal with suspected misconduct
Facing the facts is a set of comprehensive and practical guidelines for dealing with suspected official misconduct in Queensland public sector agencies.
The guidelines, which have been designed to help CEOs and managers recognise when they need to refer a matter to the CMC, detail how to:
- plan an investigation
- maintain the integrity of the process
- ensure confidentiality and fairness.
They do not provide advice on legislation or rules that might be specific to a particular agency.
Note: Facing the facts is currently under review and new modules are being prepared to take into account legislative changes. However, most of the information is still current and relevant.
Please contact us if you require clarification on any matter or require a hard copy of this guide.
