Escort agency hearings
Overview
Following public hearings in September 2005, we recommended in a 2006 report to State Parliament that outcall prostitution services from licensed brothels and independent ‘escort agencies’ should not be legalised.
We also suggested in this report methods to prevent illegal prostitution from negatively affecting the legal sex industry, providing a fairer solution for legal operators.
