Operation Warrior

The CMC conducted a major crime operation in 2009 and 2010, targeting a large-scale organised drug distribution network based on the Gold Coast. The network stretched from Cairns to Melbourne and included criminals in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Townsville, Bowen, Airlie Beach, Sydney and Melbourne. As a result, 73 people were arrested on a total of 424 drug-related charges including trafficking, supply and possession of dangerous drugs.
