- closed circuit television to enable you to view and listen to the proceedings

Suppression orders
We may apply, lift and reapply suppression orders throughout an inquiry. We will assist by advising you of any current suppression orders. To breach these may constitute a criminal offence. Media outlets are responsible for ensuring that suppression orders are enforced. If you are unsure what suppression orders are in effect, please contact our media team for advice.
Recording and filming
We give permission to film, record and photograph public inquiries on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our media team for details relevant to each inquiry.
Interviews
Interviews with witnesses, counsel and the public will not be facilitated by the CMC and are not permitted on CMC premises.
Mobile phones
Anyone attending the Hearing Room during proceedings must switch off their mobile phone. ‘Silent’ mode is not acceptable as the signal can interfere with the room’s video and audio equipment.
