You must register before applying online through Smart Jobs. Once you have done so, use the ‘Apply online’ button at the bottom of the 'job details' page.
To save your online application as a draft and return to it at a later time, click ‘Save and submit later’ at the bottom of the form.
Submitting your application
Register and apply online through Smart Jobs.
When you have completed your Smart Jobs application, click ‘Submit’. Note that once you do this, you cannot return to it or make any further changes. The only other option you have its to withdraw it. It will, be saved in ‘My applications’ for your reference.
In jobs with a questionnaires attached to the application form, the ‘Next’ button acts in the same way as ‘Submit’ — once you click it you cannot return to the application form.
If you are not applying through Smart Jobs, please email your application and the application form (DOC, 60KB), quoting the job reference number, to HR@cmc.qld.gov.au.
Ensure you submit your application before the closing date, as it may not be accepted at a later time.
Late applications
If you are submitting your application late, please notify the contact person named in the position description. The selection panel will decide if they will accept a late application.
Withdrawing applications
You can withdraw an application on SmartJobs or by contacting us. If you withdraw an application you will not be able to resubmit through SmartJobs for the same vacancy. Confirm with the contact person that you can send in a new application by another method.
